Introducing Children to World Culture

Introducing children to world culture

Here are some titles to read with your children that will widen their worldview on world culture and how people of the world live.

For our family, this is a vital area of learning and growth in our homeschooling, as it will help form how we should engage and respond with the world outside our doorstep.

I hope you find some helpful books for your family here also.

Thank you! I still need to add more titles to this list. If there’s any books you think should be there, please let me know. And I love your blogs. 🙂 We should connect sometime on some of these things. Bless you, from Victoria

Thank you! I’m sending you a friend request so we can chat easier 🙂 There is one book called Window on the World: When We Pray God Works by Daphne Spraggett and Jill Johnstone that I love. There is also a great set of free downloadable books by Kids of Courage (part of The Voice of the Martyrs) about life and persecution in a number of countries. They are under their “downloads” section.

Thanks Bonnie. I have the Window on the World above. But I have added the Kids of Courage ones – we used those this year too. 🙂 They are really fantastic aren’t they?
