Homeschool Blog Awards 2013

HSBA Vote for This Blog
The Homeschool Post have opened voting for their annual Homeschool Blog Awards.

Some very nice people have nominated me for Best Homemaking Blog.  Thank you. 🙂

The prizes are really amazing and include resources from Apologia, Sally Clarkson, Rosetta Stone and All About Learning Press.  Winning something would be such a blessing to our book-mad family!

If you’ve been blessed by something you’ve read here, please consider voting for ‘Homemaking With Heart ‘and sharing in your social media circles so others can too.  Voting runs from today until Monday 18th November.

Humble thanks from me!

    Hi Victoria,
It’s Kathryn, Harrison’s Mum – we met that time at the conference in Auckland, and see each other in Wild Earth occasionally. Great to get your email (via Treasure Chest) about your blog. I had signed up to your blog, but never got emails, and I forgot the name so was disconnected from it.
Hope all is going well for you.
We just had our third baby. A girl! Feeling very blessed. She is thus far easy and I just love her. Harrison is 7 now, still in school. Toby is 3, goes to a little preschool 2 mornings a week. I have been praying lately about whether home school is for us. Harrison gets so tired with the long days at school and I feel I hardly see him.
How are you and your gorgeous girls and little prince?
Ok hope to see you in WE again soon.
    Love Kathryn

Hi Kathryn! So super to hear from you! Congrats on your little girl. We are doing just fine, always moments of challenge but plenty of moments of joy. We love homeschooling and wouldn’t change it for anything. If you ever want to chat about homeschooling, send me an e-mail and we can get together. The Treasure Chest ladies are also a fantastic help, and there’s another local group with younger children called Arrows. Bless you heaps, from Vic
